Moxa burning

Moxa burning is a technique included in Chinese Traditional Medicine, and it is being applied since more than 3000 years ago. It is based on applying a cigar made of artemisa leaves (called moxa) over specific acupuncture points with the purpose of healing pain and balancing physiological functions with its heat. Moxa can be used on its own, although it is usually combined with acupuncture.

Among its multiple uses these are significant: treatment of arthritis, osteoarthritis, stress, infertility, anaemia, circulation issues, period issues, colds.
